40 Fast and Future Leaders of Surgical Services – Jessica R. Johnson

I know its time to go home when I have rounded on my team and all is well.

Sometimes it’s not what you know, its what you believe is possible.

One little thing I pay attention to is team morale.

Best advice I ever received feedback is a gift.

My mentors are diverse and numerous, you can never have too many.

I am here for the entire surgical service team so that excellent care is provided to our patients.

The future of surgical services is promising, with a focus on efficiency and innovation ensuring the specialty remains challenging and fulfilling.

The dumbest thing I ever did was not take personal ownership for my work-life balance.

The smartest thing I ever did was seek out opportunities for personal leadership development.

If I hadn’t been a Director of Surgical Services, I would have become a politician or policy analyst.

It is Whitman Partners’ honor and mission to support and advance the surgical services industry by facilitating the dissemination of new ideas in leadership, technology, and best practices.
