Whitman Partners Places Interim SPD Manager at Lawrence Memorial Hospital
Whitman Partners placed Loren Bernard as Interim SPD Manager at Lawrence Memorial Hospital. The position will be based in Lawrence, Kansas. Mr. Bernard has served in sterile processing management for ten years. He specializes in aligning the goals of hospital leadership with those of the sterile processing team to maximize work flow, and create a high-quality environment for patient care. The search was conducted by Chris Harter, Client Partner at Whitman Partners, and assisted by Travis O’Connor, Client Partner at Whitman Partners.
About Lawrence Memorial Hospital
Lawrence Memorial Hospital is a 174-bed, community-owned, non-profit facility that serves the communities of the city of Lawrence and Douglas County, Kansas. It was founded in 1921 in a converted home and thrived there until 1929, when a 50-bed facility was built. With several expansions throughout the years, that facility remained a stronghold in Lawrence until 1977, when it was replaced with a completely new building. The new grounds have continued to grow with the addition of a rehabilitation center, a heart center, and an oncology center, as well as expansions to many of the original departments.
