Meet Charis Peters
Charis Peters joined Whitman Partners in 2023 as an accountant for the Finance Department.
She spent her early years in Texas but during her teens, her family moved to Portland. Charis has worked in permanent and contract accounting roles for over 16 years in a variety of industries including archaeology, property management, and tech. She is also a recent graduate from the Flatiron School’s UX/UI Product Design bootcamp program.
Charis likes to spend time with her children and partner in her free time. Her favorite activities are going to the movies, drinking coffee, jigsaw puzzles, taking day trips, and exploring the city on foot.
Fun Facts
- I’m left-handed.
- My two younger children are school-aged, but I also have an adult child approaching 30.
- At one time I had 4 cats. My friends called me a crazy cat lady.
- I attended a performing arts high school where I played Juliet in Romeo and Juliet. I still have nightmares about forgetting my lines.
