New Placement – Colleen Lorenz, RN, CNOR, ACLS, BLS – Manager of Perioperative Services
Congratulations to Colleen Lorenz, who is the new placement at Grande Ronde Hospital in La Grande, OR as their new Manager of Surgical Services.
Colleen Lorenz has over 20 years of leadership experience in Surgical Services, managing multiple departments, budgets, and hospital/system-level committees. She has spearheaded process improvement initiatives on a system-wide scale. In addition, she holds extensive clinical knowledge as a CNOR-certified surgery nurse with 32 years of experience leading teams in various surgical areas. Her leadership extends to hospital nursing committees; during the pandemic, she played a crucial role in surge planning and activation. Lorenz has also served in the US Army Reserve with roles in the Medical Service Corps before transitioning to the Army Nurse Corps.
