Meet Jennifer Smith
Jennifer joined Whitman Partners in 2021 as a Portfolio Manager for permanent placements.
She was raised in Loxahatchee, FL, a rural community in southern FL. Loxahatchee is a Seminole Indian word for “River of Turtles.” Jennifer attended the University of Florida, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Food Science and Human Nutrition.
Jennifer conducted health-related research under two physicians during college and worked for Southwestern Advantage, an entrepreneurial program for university students. With Southwestern Advantage, she sold $30,000 worth of educational books door to door in a single summer and finished 32nd in the United States out of 1,000 first-year sellers. Other positions include administrative clerk for an emergency department, sales associate for a gym, and personal trainer.
In her free time, Jennifer likes to work out at the gym and submerse herself in the outdoors, be it fishing, hiking, or camping. She loves her two cats, Socks and Phoenix, to absolute pieces (even when they get a little bit jealous during work calls).

- I’m married to my high school sweetheart.
- To conquer my fear of heights, I went cliff jumping in Mexico.
- When I lifted competitively, I could lift 2.5x my body weight. As a teenager, I’ve medaled in two state championships and earned the “800 lb. club” title.
