Jeff Cater is a dynamic and results-driven nursing leader with extensive experience in surgical services and emergency care. With a background that spans leadership roles in various healthcare settings, Jeff is known for building high-performing teams and implementing innovative programs that prioritize patient safety and operational excellence.
Throughout his career, Jeff has demonstrated a strong focus on fostering a culture of open communication, collaboration, and continuous improvement in patient care. His leadership experience includes managing large teams, implementing advanced surgical programs, and leading efforts to improve patient outcomes and compliance with regulatory standards.
Jeff’s career also includes roles as GI Manager, Flight Nurse, and Lead Emergency Room Nurse at multiple healthcare institutions. His certifications include Nurse Executive (NE-BC), Certified Operating Room Nurse (CNOR), and Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN), reflecting his commitment to excellence in nursing leadership and patient care.
Jeff holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Washington and is currently pursuing a Master’s in Healthcare Administration from Western Governors University.
In his new role at Christus Highland Medical Center, Jeff will leverage his expertise in surgical services, team leadership, and clinical excellence to lead surgical services and continue driving improvements in patient outcomes and operational efficiency.
