Faren Campbell is a highly experienced nursing leader with an extensive background in surgical services and clinical management. With over a decade of leadership experience, Faren has been instrumental in driving clinical excellence, staff development, and patient-centered care.
In her most recent role as Vice President of Surgical Services at Frye Regional Medical Center, Faren managed a wide range of services including PAT, OR, PACU, Sterile Processing, and multiple surgery centers. She played a key role in creating new service lines, improving patient safety through evidence-based practices, and advocating for staff, physicians, and patients alike. Previously, Faren served as Assistant Surgical Services Manager at CaroMont Health, where she was a valued member of the Infection Control Committee and a key player in patient safety initiatives.
Faren’s career also includes roles such as Surgical Services Manager and Interim Director at Lake Norman Hospital, and Public Health Nurse at Catawba County Public Health. Her experience spans a variety of specialties, and she has consistently demonstrated her ability to lead large teams, manage complex operations, and mentor staff to achieve high standards of care.
Faren holds a Master of Arts in Executive Leadership from Liberty University and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Winston-Salem State University.
In her new role at Gulf Coast Medical Center, Faren will bring her vast experience and leadership skills to enhance surgical services, improve patient outcomes, and lead her team to continued success.
