Congratulations to Martin Gitonga, MHA, BSN, RN who is the new placement at UT Southwestern Medical Center – Dallas, Texas as their new Director of Surgical Services.
Martin Gitonga is an experienced perioperative leader rooted in evidence-based practice in both clinical practice and leadership. In his previous position, he was the director of surgical services at Medical City Dallas Hospital in Dallas, Texas. Leading a staff of 130, he was responsible for clinical, operational, safety, and quality for 33 ORs. He promotes innovation and collaboration, two critical tools to navigate a challenging and dynamic healthcare industry.
