Congratulations to Michelle Bassel, MBA, BSN, RN, on her new placement as the Manager of Surgical Services at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital in Norfolk, Virginia.
Michelle Bassel is an experienced nurse leader with 12 years of clinical experience. Previously, she served as the Director of Perioperative Services at Witham Memorial Hospital in Lebanon, IN. Before that, she was the Perioperative Nurse Educator with Surgical Care Specialists of Indiana in Anderson, IN. Her career has also included roles such as Trauma Coordinator, OR Charge Nurse, and Assistant Director of Healthcare Services. Academically, she has earned both her MBA and BSN.
Michelle Bassel’s extensive background in perioperative services and her commitment to excellence will be instrumental in advancing surgical services at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital.
