Amy Semple is an accomplished healthcare leader, driving excellence in surgical operations. She spent almost 8 years in perioperative leadership at Stanford Health Care. In her previous position, she was the VP of Perioperative/Interventional Services at Lucille Packard Children’s Hospital, Stanford. During her tenure, she spearheaded the implementation of an optimized surgical scheduling and preference card program across inpatient and outpatient sites, overseeing 70,000 cases and achieving a net revenue of $1 billion. In addition, she implemented a pre-anesthesia virtual visits program in collaboration with Digital Health to enhance accessibility and reduce physical presence, resulting in a 25% growth in the first year. A visionary leader, she is at the helm of advancing surgical services, ensuring the highest standards of patient care and operational efficiency.
