Congratulations to Janelle Skjervem, who is the new placement at Memorial Hermann The Woodlands Medical Center, in The Woodlands, TX as their new OR/Endoscopy Director.
In her previous position, Janelle Skjervem served as director of perioperative services at University Hospital in San Antonio, TX. There, she ensured the smooth operations of a Level 1 Trauma Center with 35 ORs and 650 beds. Her responsibilities included managing a complex and dynamic surgery schedule and developing and implementing strategies to improve critical metrics (FCOTs, turnaround times, and overall utilization). She also managed the operative budget and ensured responsible stewardship by obtaining service and supply contracts and capital purchases.
