Congratulations to Gregory Williams, MBA, BSN, RN, who is the new placement at Children’s Memorial Hermann Hospital in Houston, Texas as their new Director of Pediatric Operating Rooms.
Gregory Williams is an innovative and adaptable leader with over 20 years of experience leading surgical services in the US Armed Services as an Army Nurse Corps Officer. In his most recent role, he was the program managing director for the Joint Base San Antonio (JBSA) surgical services line. The JBSA includes 16 surgical specialties and 32 ORs. Here, he increased FCOTs, block utilization, and decreased turn-over time. Before JBSA, he was the program managing director for surgical services at Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center in Killeen, TX. He oversaw a $40 million operating budget and maintained safe, efficient, and financially responsible surgical care for patients.
