New Placement – Wayne McFatter, MSN, RNFA, RN, CNOR
Congratulations to Wayne McFatter who is the new placement at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital, in Pinehurst, North Carolina as their new Executive Director of Surgical Services.
Wayne McFatter has many years of perioperative leadership experience. His career began in the military when he served in the US Navy as a hospital corpsman for four years. He then earned an ADN from Central Carolina Community College. Later, he earned his BSN from North Carolina A&T State University and his Master of Science in Nursing from Regis University. In the Cone Health System, he worked as a certified surgical technologist, OR team leader, director, system-wide director, and executive director over the course of 33 years. His previous positions include associate consultant with Whitman Partners and interim director of surgical services with FirstHealth.
