Congratulations to Janet Kasim, MSN, MBA-HCM, RN, CNOR who is the new placement at The Queen’s Medical Center, Honolulu, HI as their new Same Day Nurse Manager.
Janet Kasim has many years of perioperative leadership as an innovative change agent with extensive experience navigating facilities through accelerated growth and transition periods. Previously, she was the RN department administrator for patient care and perioperative services at Kaiser Permanente Zion Medical Center in San Diego, CA. Kasim oversaw the daily operations management of the peri-anesthesia department, partnered with the director on budget, fiscal, and capital oversight, and ensured the department framework aligned with the KP system framework for patient experience.
